Salaamun Alaikum brothers,

The version of Volleyball, played by our community is a testament to our unique and distinct culture. And as a proud member of our community, I accept with honor the post of 'Captain' of the Jaffery Sports Club, Volleyball Team. The sport of Volleyball here at Jaffery's holds tremendous value and I am all set to rise to the challenge and shoulder the responsibility of lifting our Volleyball team to greater heights.

With me I have Br.Mehboob Bandali who will be incharge of the Friday sessions, Br.Zaffer Iqbal who will be incharge for the night sessions(Sunday & Tuesday nights) & Br.Salim Damji who will be incharge for the Monday night sessions.

Volleyball has been one such sport, that has brought our community together. Apart from bringing our globally spread community into one playing court, the sport has brought the members within the community together, enhancing our unity and interaction. Elders and youth, have all participated in this sport and such connections have been the binding force to the progress of the sport. Volleyball has only grown from strength to strength and keeping in mind the popularity of the sport and the intense competition, I shall look to ensure that our team stands unopposed as number one.

My vision is to carry on, from the fruits that have been left behind, forgiving but not forgetting mistakes made. I shall look to plant the seeds of progress and with numerous festivals scheduled for the calendar year the preparations shall begin right away. The youths and elders, who enjoy this game will now have further opportunities to play their favorite sport and it is my vision to ensure everyone's satisfaction.

I am fully aware of the stratified nature of our game and I will look to ensure that each playing member, youth or adult gets a maximum participation in the game,seeing his skills used to the utmost benefit. Friendly games and practices shall remain in the routine orderly fashion but now the aim shall be to increase competition and engrain a sense of professionalism amongst the budding stars. In short, I am looking to ensure that the current and next generation of volleyball players remember Jaffery Sports Dubai, as the one and only volleyball unit of its kind.

I am once again thankful to Br.Hassnain Rajani that he has trusted me with this responsibility. Service to my community is but obligatory and I am sure my fellow brothers will help me in my quest to see the golden trophies and moments remain at our camp.
I now take this opportunity to welcome you into a new year of Jafferys Dubai, with a chant of, ' Dubai Oye'!!!!
